BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY INDOOR PRACTICE FACILITY
The Boise State University Indoor Practice Facility is a magnificent addition to the Boise State athletic program benefiting BSU student athletes, staff, students and the community year round.
This uniquely crafted 102,000 sf structure sits between Bronco Stadium and the Boise River. The outside structure was constructed using tilt-up concrete walls and metal-stud-crete panels with brick veneer. Exterior steel columns and a barrel rolled roof structure complete the facility.
Inside the Practice Facility, the full-size practice field spans 200 feet with 70 feet of clear height. In addition to the practice field, the building includes 24,000 sf of office, storage, and practice areas for the marching band, cheerleaders and dance team. Highlights include in-direct lighting, elevated filming platforms, 3 motorized nets and a state-of-the-art sound system.
This challenging design/build project was completed including design in just 11 months and was delivered to BSU and Idaho Division of Public Works under budget, and in time for the BSU Broncos to practice for the January 2006 MPC Bowl Game
