Value Engineering is a continual focus for the McAlvain Team. Whether evaluating alternative systems, reviewing design documents, conducting a formal estimate of determining bid packaging and procurement strategies, we are value focused. We constantly look for cost effectiveness. MCI is committed to providing a safe workplace for project teams as is demonstrated by our exemplary safety record. MCI provides our project teams with up-to-date safety awareness programs on an ongoing basis. A Site-Specific Safety Plan is created for all work on the site and will be guided by MCI’s corporate safety program. Detailed Scheduling is used to ensure a complete understanding of the total resource requirements for each project including design elements, construction management staff, subcontractor management, specialty trades, and craft tradesman. McAlvain also assists in the Pre-Construction stages to obtain all necessary agency reviews, approvals and permits. |

| PROJECT COMMISSIONING: McAlvain Construction, Inc's processes and procedures ensure that post-construction activities are never neglected or left to the end after the project is successfully completed. A detailed commissioning or post-construction plan is developed early in the construction phase. Our internal CQC program establishes client and MCI expectations early and performs regular inspections through out the course of the work. This detailed plan includes, Operating and Maintenance Manuals, Subcontractor and vendor provided training and Warranties. The Warranty phase of the project is just as important as any other phase of the job. All warranty issues are resolved quickly.
