Steve brings over 16 years’ experience in the construction industry with extensive Roadwork, Bridgework, Dam, and WWTP experience. As Project Engineer, Steve’s responsibilities and strengths include assisting in: contract administration, scheduling, cost control and document management. Steve holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Sacramento State University, Sacramento, California.
Boise, Idaho. September 2014 – McAlvain Group of Companies, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Walter McBrier, as Project Director and Vice President. Walt has spent the last 5 years with McAlvain as Project Manager and has been heavily involved in McAlvain’s Concrete and Heavy Civil Divisions. Notable projects include I-84 Orchard Interchange, I-84 11th Avenue Underpass, Boise River Recreation Park Phase 1, JUMP Concrete, Chobani Yogurt Plant Concrete, and the North Side Canal Head of the U Gate Structure.
Walt will be responsible for Team Leadership, Project Management/Project Engineer Training, and Team Support; overseeing the effective and efficient planning and managing of assigned projects to successful completion.
Boise, Idaho. January, 2014 – Chuck Graves, President of McAlvain Construction, Inc., and McAlvain Design Build, Inc., has been elected to the Idaho AGC Board of Directors for 2014. Chuck will serve a three year term as one of eight General Contractor Directors. The Board of Directors serves members of the AGC in promoting success within the State of Idaho’s construction industry.
Chuck has over 28 years of experience within the construction industry with an extensive background in government, institutional, high tech, industrial and commercial business sectors. Chuck also serves on the Boise State University Construction Management Advisory Board.
