Thirty In Thirty Award

In recognition of its involvement over the past 30 years with the BSU CM program, McAlvain Construction (MCI) was presented with a “Thirty In Thirty” award at the Construction Managements 30^th Anniversary Celebration at Boise State University.

The anniversary event celebrated the past by honoring 30 distinguished contributors and alumni of the CM program.  McAlvain's involvement in the program over these past decades has included: financial donations, fundraisers, community program involvement, and summer internships, to name a few.  Two current BSU CM students have accepted McAlvain internships for this summer of 2011.  MCI has also focused on mentoring BSU CM teams in preparation for competing in Reno, Nevada during annual ASC Region 6 Student Competitions.   For the last two years, the BSU CM Design/Build team has placed 2^nd at the competition.  The Commercial team placed 2^nd in 2010.
