  • MAGIC Camp

    Each year, McAlvain participates in Magic Camp. Sponsored by the National Association of Women in Construction, MAGIC (Mentor A Girl In Construction) Camp is a 4 day event where girls ages 13 to 15 explore the basics in construction.

  • Special Olympics World Winter Games

    As Boise hosted the Special Olympics World Winter Games, the McAlvain team rose to the occasion, offering its leadership and assistance for the construction of nearly all of the venues used by the Special Olympics. McAlvain brought organization and structure to the construction of more than seven venues including: 3 stages used for the opening and closing ceremonies, 7 award podiums, 7 indoor hockey rinks, 6 large wheelchair platforms, the “Experience Boxes” used at the Center on the Grove, and judges platforms.

  • AGC Opening Doors Program

    McAlvain participated in AGC’s Opening Doors Program completely remodeling a returning veteran’s home and making it wheelchair accessible.
